Well, we leave tomorrow for Europe and I am pretty much packed!

As I discussed in Part 1 of my packing post, I have one roller bag for me and my two kids, and a carry on for each of us.  I ended up using one slim packing cube for each kid and one medium packing cube.  The slim cubes hold socks, underwear, pjs, and a swimsuit.  The medium ones hold roughly 7 shirts and 6 shorts plus a fleece sweatshirt.  My 5 years olds clothes are the smallest, so he wins in terms of quantity of clothes that will fit (he is also the messiest)! I am very strategic with the clothes that I pack.  I really only pack clothes that are made of easy to wash and air dry fabrics.  All the shorts, shirts, and underwear are a poly wicking blend that will dry overnight.

For my stuff I used two medium packing cubes (one tops, one bottoms), and two slim packing cubes to hold underwear, workout clothes, a swimsuit, and sleep clothes.  Again, I really focus on packing clothes that will wash and air dry easily.  Poly blend wicking fabric is key – it also happens to be lightweight and resists wrinkling!  Rain is in the forecast, so I stuffed all three of our lightweight rain jacket shells into a gallon ziploc and smashed all the air out of the bag.

My carry on has essentials for the plane – headphones, chargers, medicine, a book neck pillow and a TON of food.  Seriously, over 1/2 of my carry on is food!

I have to mention my newest neck pillow!  I have never been able to find one that was comfortable for me – but in searching amazon, I found the BCOZZY neck pillow and am pretty pumped about it!   I got 2 kids sized BCOZZY  neck pillows for the boys and they seem to be comfortable for them as well.  We’ll see!

I’ll pack up the last minute toiletries in the morning and we’re off!
